CARL Fletcher wants Cherries under-21s to step up their performance levels when they travel to Eastleigh tonight.

Fletcher's troops shared a 3-3 draw with Fulham on Saturday, with Mikael Ndjoli twice on the scoresheet and Jordan Green scoring the other goal.

And the boss has urged his team to kick on in their latest friendly, which is due to take place at the Silverlake Stadium (7pm).

Fletcher told the club website: "There's still plenty for us to improve on. The whole aim of pre-season is to get fit and I feel our lads are continuing to push themselves.

"Eastleigh will be a different kind of test to the Fulham game and it's important we have a varied fixture list to give the players different environments to experience."

Supporters can purchase tickets on the gate. Adult tickets are £5 and concessions £3, while under-sevens get in free.

Cherries under-18s also faced Fulham at the weekend but were condemned to a 2-1 defeat.

Nnamdi Ofoborh opened the scoring at Motspur Park but a second-half penalty and a late winner turned the game round.

Boss Alan Connell said: "Conceding with virtually the last kick was probably a bit unjust but that's something you have to take.

"We're improving and feeling good with the season proper getting closer and closer."
