Man arrested over 'public order offence' in Poole
POLICE arrested a man in Poole yesterday after stopping a ‘suspicious vehicle’.
Eyewitnesses watched as police detained the 38-year-old man in Yarmouth Close at around 3.50pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said after stopping the vehicle, officers arrested the man on suspicion of a public order offence.
“Following the stop, officers arrested a 38-year-old man from Poole on suspicion of a public order offence (using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour),” they explained.
The man is assisting officers with their inquiries.
