THIS huge residential development on Roeshot Hill will be built on green belt.
This momentous decision should not be made by the small group of people on the planning committee, but by all Christchurch people who are on the Electoral Roll and the voting should be conducted as per the General Election.
This building on green belt should not be left unchallenged. Does this decision, made only by the planning committee, leave them open to a legal challenge in court?
Not only green belt is under threat by this huge development, but also hospitals, schools, GP surgeries, roads, nature and pollution. The public must be allowed to vote.
