THE grieving family of a man who died on a cruise ship are still waiting for answers more than six months after his death.
Glyn Rickman, 79, was found dead in his cabin in Portugal on January 2.
His body was returned to the UK but a post mortem examination had already been carried out in Portugal and the results have not been sent to Dorset coroner Rachael Griffin despite requests for information.
A second post mortem examination, carried out after repatriation, proved inconclusive due to the effect of the first examination, a Bournemouth inquest heard.
Mr Rickman, who lived in Iford Lane in Bournemouth, was on holiday with his sister, who found him collapsed in his cabin, the coroner was told.
Mrs Griffin adjourned the hearing until October to allow for further inquiries through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
