THOUSANDS of revellers are expected to line the streets of Wareham on Sunday (JULY 23) for the town's annual carnival procession.
This year's carnival theme is 'feathers' and there should be dozens of colourful floats, marching bands and street entertainers taking part.
Set for a 1pm start, the procession will make its way along North Street and on to Wareham Recreation Ground.
Events set for the recreation ground, taking place from 2.30pm, include a bean bag throw, falconry display, field gun display, tug-of-war, sack race and army cadet display.
There will also be live music in the main marquee, alongside food and drinks stands.
