The Emergency Services Family Fun Day comes to Kings Park on Saturday. The event will show how Dorset Police use their highly trained police dogs. You can also meet paramedics, find out more about the local air ambulance and discover how the fire and rescue service rescues animals.

A free family festival featuring a barbecue, stalls, raffle, tombola and children’s entertainment takes place at Fernhill Care Home, Ringwood Road, on Saturday, July 22 from 11am until 3pm. Proceeds will go to Dementia UK.

Experience the Stour by candlelight at a special event on July 22.
The event will take place at the Kingfisher Barn off Granby Road from 9pm to midnight. Members of the public can drop in any time throughout the evening for a fantastic campfire. There will also be a chance to have a cooked curry at 9pm. The event is free, but food costs £5.

Pet lovers are invited to the Pound Puppy Animal Rescue fun dog show and barbecue at Norden Farm, Corfe Castle, on July 23 from 10am - 3pm.

The Corfe Castle Flower Festival will be held at St Edward's Church this weekend. The theme is 'Times and Seasons of the Church' and the festival runs until Sunday between 10am and 5pm. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
