A STEAM train that last travelled to Dorset 50 years ago today is making a special service from London to mark the anniversary.
The Bournemouth Belle train departed London Waterloo at 9.52am and is set to arrive in Bournemouth at 12.30pm.

Following an afternoon in the town, the train will make the return journey at 5.36pm, arriving back in the capital at 9.23pm.
Stopping at various stations along the line including Brockenhurst, Southampton and Winchester, the locomotive will feature many of the Pullman coaches that were used in the original Bournemouth Belle.
The public service has been organised by the merchant navy locomotive preservation society, with two more special services travelling from London to Yeovil, and Waterloo to Exeter later in the summer.
