BUDGENS in Broadstone is set to make way for Marks and Spencer after it closes today (TUES).
The Lower Blandford Road unit - located next door to Tesco Express - is set to become an M&S after it shuts its doors for the final time at the end of today.
The new operative of the store was confirmed by a spokesman for Booker - the cash and carry giant behind Londis and Budgens convenience chains.
Supermarket giant Tesco have agreed to a £3.7bn deal to buy Booker.
In a poster put in the window of the Broadstone store, Budgens said: "We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their support over the years."
The Daily Echo were unable to get a comment from M&S at the time of going to press.
