DORSET police say there has been a possible sighting of a Poole woman missing in Turkey for weeks.
Nicola Peverell, who is 54, went for a week-long holiday in the country on Thursday, May 4, but failed to return home.
She was last seen on Monday, May 22 at a hotel in the resort of Fethiye. Officers investigating her disappearance believe she was travelling alone.
Chief Inspector Heather Dixey said fears are mounting for Nicola as she is not believed to have access to medication which she takes on a regular basis.
However, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said yesterday that there has been a “good response” from members of the public following an appeal for information.
One call included a possible sighting of Nicola in Turkey.
“Active enquiries are underway,” the spokesperson said.
