TRIBUTES have been paid to a teenager found dead after a night out with his friends.

Matthew Lusted was found hanged in the garage of the Verwood home he shared with parents Colin and Joanne on the morning of March 11.

The 19-year-old, who worked in the cafe at Morrisons in the town, had never talked about self-harming or suicide, an inquest held in Bournemouth heard.

Matthew had been "bouncy" the day before his death. He had visited Wimborne on the evening of March 10 with friends.

At 6.20am, Mr Lusted was woken by his son being noisy and told him to go to bed. Matthew was found dead at 7.50am.

At the time of his death, he was around one and a half times the drink drive limit and had cannabis in his system.

Dorset coroner Rachael Griffin said Matthew's intention remains unclear and recorded a narrative verdict.

Mr and Mrs Listed said: "Losing our son Matthew in such tragic circumstances has devastated our family

"We always have been, and will remain, immensely proud of our son and feel blessed and privileged to have had him in our lives."
