I READ your news articles with interest after the weekend.
The lack of proper bins all along the promenade is a disgrace.
People have actually tried to dispose of their rubbish properly, but how can they with such a severe shortage of appropriate bins the whole way along?
At Midway Path - shown in the photo - this one bin is the only one available between the Sandbanks public car park and the Haven Hotel and is situated at the very top end of the footpath away from the beach.
I note on the beach bins it states a fine of £75 for anyone caught littering.
Perhaps we should be fining the council for its woefully inadequate refuse collection in public areas.
How can we look after our beautiful beaches properly without proper rubbish facilities and removals?
