DETECTIVES have released CCTV after a brazen theft from a Christchurch store.
The shopkeeper at Alex and Us, a clothing store in Church Street, was closing up at around 5.40pm on Thursday, June 15, and was at the back of the building switching off lights when the burglary occurred.
The victim had put the ‘closed’ sign on the shop door but had not locked it, and a man entered and took around £300 in cash from the till counter before departing.
She returned to find the money gone and door ajar.
Officers investigating the burglary have released a CCTV image of a suspect in a witness appeal.
