A WOMAN aged 24 has been charged with causing death by careless driving.
At 2.35pm on Saturday, January 28, a white Renault Clio and a white Kawasaki motorcycle were involved in a crash in Victoria Road, Ferndown, near to the junction with Westwood Avenue.
The motorcyclist, a 67-year-old Wimborne man, was treated at the scene by police officers and paramedics, and the air ambulance landed in the nearby King George V recreation ground, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Deborah Quartey, of Ferndown, has been issued with a postal requisition to appear before Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 3, charged with causing death by careless driving.
