POLICE fear for the safety of a Poole woman who has failed to return home from a holiday in Turkey.

Nicola Peverell, who is 54, went for a week-long break on Thursday, May 4.

She has not returned to the UK.

Nicola was last seen on Monday, May 22 at a hotel in Fethiye, Turkey.

Police believe she was travelling alone.

She is described as white, five feet tall and of large build. She has blonde, shoulder-length hair, which is always worn down.

Chief Inspector Heather Dixey, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Nicola as we believe she has not been able to access medication which she takes on a regular basis.

“She has not been in contact with her family since the end of May. The assumption is that she is still in Turkey as our investigation has shown that she has not re-entered Britain.

“If you have had contact with Nicola since Monday, May 22, please get in touch with police as any small detail may be of importance in piecing together where she may have gone.

“If Nicola sees this appeal, please make contact with us or your family so we know that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Nicola’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55170085609.
