POLICE searching for a missing man say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for his safety.
Mark Powell, 53, went missing from an address in West End, Spetisbury sometime between 10pm Sunday, June 18 and 9am, Monday, June 19.
He did not take his wallet or mobile phone with him. It is believed he may have left on a ladies' red Raleigh bicycle.
Mark, who lives in Dorchester, is described as white, six feet tall, of stocky build, clean-shaven and with a tanned complexion.
He has short dark-coloured hair and wears glasses. He was wearing dark-coloured jeans and a cowboy-style hat.
Chief Inspector John Foster, of Dorset Police, said: “I understand that Mark has been upset lately and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.
"We have carried out searches of the Spetisbury and Dorchester areas but Mark has not been found."
Anyone who has information about Mark's whereabouts is urged to contact the force via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting 19:248.
Chief Inspector Foster said: “Finally, if Mark sees this appeal I would ask him to please make contact with Dorset Police or your family.
"We are worried about you and just want to know you are safe.”
