PRIME Minister Theresa May failed to visit residents of Grenfell Tower following this week's devastating fire because of "security" concerns, according to Bournemouth East MP Tobias Ellwood.
The newly appointed Defence Minister retaliated to an accusation by an incredulous audience member who claimed the Prime Minister was a "wibbly wobbly leader" during last night's BBC Question Time.
"Theresa May hasn't engaged with anyone," the man said.
"She went to Grenfell Towers, she didn't speak to any residents. How's that engaging?"
Mr Ellwood responded: "There are reasons for that. Specific things have happened. There's security concerns that were made there."
The man commented that Jeremy Corbyn had made the time to speak to residents following the huge fire, which has so far claimed the lives of 17 people.
The audience member also said that he would never vote Tory again while Theresa May was leader of the Conservative Party.
