There are long delays on the A338 Spur Road following a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the southbound carriageway of the road near to Hurn Bridge just after 4pm this afternoon.
The vehicles involved included a white Ford Transit van, registered to a company in Scotland, and a red Vauxhall Corsa, registered to a man from Wareham.
A Dorset Police spokesman confirmed that no one was injured in the crash.
She added: “There is debris on the road as a result of the collision and one lane of the southbound carriageway has been closed while it is cleared.”
There are delays in the area as a result of the collision.
