Gusty winds of up to 60mph are set to sweep across Dorset, the Met Office is warning.
A yellow weather warning of wind for has been issued for Bournemouth, Poole and the rest of Dorset.
The alert is valid from 10am until 10pm on Tuesday.
The warning says: "Strong to gale force west to northwesterly winds will affect many areas today.
"Gusts of 40 to 50 mph are likely with isolated gusts close to 60 mph possible over coasts, hills and locally inland where heavy showers occur.
"Expect some localised transport disruption with some trees perhaps uprooted. Large waves and spray will affect some coasts."
A fallen tree is blocking a road in Corfe Mullen.
Waterloo Road is blocked both ways between Wareham Road and Coventry Close.
There's also a fallen tree blocking Northleigh Lane in Colehill.
Willow Way car park in Christchurch is closed after a tree came down in Sopers Lane.
The tree is due to be cleared.
