Emergency services have been called to a two-car crash near Wool level crossing this afternoon.
Two people have been taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called to the scene at Station Road at 1.33pm.
Ambulance and fire were also called and the road is closed between the Ship Inn and the roundabout from Bovington.
Both vehicles need recovering. The road remains closed.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said there were two casualties, both with neck and head pain.
One person has gone to Poole Hospital and the other to Dorset County Hospital.
