CHRIS Park believes Bournemouth must "concentrate on ourselves" if they are to maintain their impressive start to the season.

Lions have three Southern Premier League Division One wins on the board from as many games and will hope to increase their streak when they visit third-place Calmore Sports tomorrow (1pm).

Asked whether he felt his team were equipped to maintain their unbeaten start, captain Park said: “Basingstoke are looking a strong outfit and Ventnor are going to be up there as well.

“We are only three games in and have to concentrate on ourselves. We need to bat properly and look to score 250 in every game. Then, we can really concentrate on building pressure in the field.

“I had eight bowlers on the pitch against Hook last week so there were plenty of overs there if anybody had bowled badly.

“We just need to mix and match to see which bowlers are suited to the conditions and which ones the batters are not enjoying.”
