Bournemouth’s top clergyman has written to the town’s Imam to show his support following Monday night’s terror attack.
In an email to Imam Majid Yasin, Revd Ian Terry, said: "I start the day stunned and shocked from hearing just now of another horrific terrorist attack, this time in Manchester.
"I would assure you of our ongoing friendship and of my renewed determination to join with all others of goodwill to stir up mutual respect and a genuine valuing of difference in our society, beginning, for us, here in Bournemouth.
"The violent minority must be seen as such, and we will demonstrate that, together with our Jewish friends, and many, many others, we represent the peace-loving majority.
"Along with all who died and suffered in Manchester, you and your community of faith, are in our prayers."
