ANIMALS have been involved in another two hit-and-run accidents in the New Forest.
A mare was badly hurt in a collision with a vehicle at Linwood, near Ringwood, and had to be humanely destroyed by one of the agisters.
In a separate incident a young bull was injured at Appleslade, which is in the same part of the Forest.
It follows several other incidents in which motorists involved in animal accidents in the district have sped off without reporting the collision.
The New Forest Verderers offer a £1,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of hit-and-run drivers.
