CALLING all cyclists - there are just two months to go until the Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride.
Dust off the Lycra, and oil those chains to get some training in before the popular Daily Echo backed event takes place on Sunday, July 2.
There is a choice of six circular routes along Dorset's lanes to choose from, with a 10 mile ride to a challenging 100 mile ride.
The event raises money for Macmillan, who support people with cancer.
Every day 15 people in Dorset hear the news that they have cancer. And there are already more than 30,000 people in Dorset living with cancer.
As treatments improve, the total number of people with cancer in Dorset will almost double by 2030.
This is enough people to fill the AFC Bournemouth football ground five and half times.
To take part in the Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride and help the growing need to support people living with cancer visit macmillanbikeride.co.uk or call 01202 601705 for entry forms.
