PLANS have been submitted to turn a bungalow in Poole into a new nursery.
The site in Lilliput Road is adjacent to the entrance to Lilliput First School. It is currently occupied by the former caretaker’s bungalow.
Plans to turn the bungalow into a 23 place nursery for children aged between two and five-years-old, will be discussed by Borough of Poole’s planning committee today. Officers have recommended it for approval.
The nursery would open from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday - but the applicants have said they would “spread out” the pick up and drop off times to avoid congestion.
Concerns have been made by residents regarding increased congestion in the area and the lack of on-site parking.
The proposal includes retaining one car parking space for the three members of staff.
