FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a fire in a ground floor flat yesterday, Friday.
A crew from Christchurch attended the scene in Bure Park around 6.50pm.
The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.
Neighbour Helen Shipton called 999 to report the fire.
She said: "The fire was really beginning to take hold but two crews arrived and quickly put the fire out.
"No one seemed to need medical attention."
