The Easter holidays may be here but the roadworks continue. Here's what's happening across Bournemouth and Poole.

Fernside Road, Poole: There will be rolling road closures along Fernside Road for the next two months. Work is being done to replace the gas mains along the road. The closures will be in place until Tuesday, June 20. The junction between Linthorpe Road and Longfleet Road will be closed from today. A full list of the closures, and when they are each taking place, can be found at poole.gov.uk.

Poole Lane:  A temporary road closure will remain in place until April 21 while Bournemouth council carries out highway alterations. Some delays are expected.

Upton Bypass: All current work will be completed on the bypass by April 22. The work began on January 16. A second phase of work will take place next year.

Durdells Avenue: There will be temporary rolling road closures on each junction until April 25, as Bournemouth council carries out roadworks. A sign-posted diversion will be set up.

Maxwell Road: There will be temporary restrictions in place between Heron Court Road and Linwood Road until April 26, while Southern Gas Networks carries out maintenance work.

Commercial Road, Poole: Drivers face delays until April 28 while a new pedestrian crossing is constructed and footway works take place with two-way signals in operation. Wessex Water is also carrying out work until April 19 and there is a lane closure in place.

Horseshoe Common shared space: 12 weeks of works continue to repair the road surface on the shared space. Traffic lights will be in place to control traffic on Old Christchurch Road.
