The Tank Museum is putting on a Tiger Day, dedicated to its most famous tank, on Saturday. The Tiger 131, the only running Tiger 1 tank in the world, will be seen in action. Join a ranger for a walk to find out more about life in Durlston's bustling seabird colonies. Price £3. Meet at Durlston Castle reception at 2.30pm on Sunday, April 30. For more information, call 01929 424443.

The Mayor of Bournemouth's Charity Tennis Tournament will take place at the West Hants Tennis Club on Sunday, April 30, between 1.30-8pm. The tournament is American doubles and will be followed by a barbecue and live music. To enter or attend call 01202 519455.

The RNLI’s annual Mayday Food and Drink Festival returns to Poole on Sunday. For the second year running, the lifesaving charity welcomes visitors to the RNLI College in West Quay Road with a wide selection of local and artisan foodie delights, delicious samples and live music.
Featured delicacies include local microbrewery Southbourne Ales, Flaming Peaches street food, and award-winning organic grocery delivery company Riverford. Takes place from 11am to 5pm. 

The annual 'great little plant sale' in aid of the Lantern Community and the Macular Society will take place at the Damerham Village Hall on Sunday, April 30 at 2pm. Admission is free.

The Westover Group Motor Showcase 2017 takes place at the BIC on April 29 and 30, starting at 10am.

A spring fair is scheduled for Wareham United Reformed Church on April 29. This event, including cream teas, cake stalls, toys, books, plants and a tombola, takes place 2-4pm.

A sale of nearly-new clothes and equipment for babies and children will take place at the Littledown Centre on April 30 from 10am-noon. Admission is £1 for adults and free for children.

A fundraising football match and family fun day is taking place at Fawcett’s Field, Christchurch Road, New Milton on Sunday, April 30, at 11am. The event is being held to raise money for the children of Kevin Peat who was killed in a crash last month. Kevin’s Allstars will take on a team representing the Isabel Baker Foundation at midday. Gates open at 11am and there will be a barbecue, face painting, bouncy castle and a raffle.

The Saxon and Viking siege of Wareham will be recreated at Corfe Castle daily from April 29 to May 1. Visit nationaltrust.org.uk/corfe-castle

Dorset Dialect Day takes place on Sunday at the Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre.Visitors will be challenged to use the native language of the county to complete the trail and spot-it challenge using names of the past.It takes place from 10am to 4pm. To find our more call 01202 451548.

The BSO's 'Animal Zoo' concert takes place at the Lighthouse Theatre on Saturday.  It includes music from Wallace & Gromit. The concert starts at 11.15am.

A Georgian Fayre is being held in Blandford from 10am to 5pm on Monday with circus workshops, a music zone, model armour display, classic car show, street fayre and market and traditional fairground entertainers.

Discover the secrets of Boscombe Chine on a guided walk with Hattie Miles starting at 10.30am on Bank Holiday Monday. Hidden Histories of Boscombe Chine begins at the Chine Hotel. You will find out about the area’s history, the many famous people connected to it and discover some of its hidden secrets. The circular walk lasts one-and-a-half hours. The Southern England Town Crier’s Competition will again be held in Wimborne Minster Town Square on Bank Holiday Monday. The Dorset Youth Marching Band will also be providing music on the day. Takes place between 11am and 4pm. 

A May Day fete, donkey derby and dog show takes place at Pelhams Park, Kinson, from 11am until 4pm on Monday. Organised by Bournemouth North Rotary Club, the event raises thousands of pounds for Bournemouth charities each year. BBC South Today's presenter Ed Sault will be opening the fete and AFC Bournemouth's Cherry Bear will also be there.

The three-day Teddy Rocks music festival runs from Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30, at Charisworth Farm in Blandford. Scottish band Twin Atlantic will kick off the event. Dubstep and electronic rock band from London, Modestep, are set to headline on Saturday, while Scouting For Girls will close the event on Sunday.
