FOUR people required medical treatment after a two-car collision on the A35 near Lytchett Minster earlier this morning.
Firefighters removed the roof of one of the vehicles involved, a green Peugeot 106, to enable paramedics to safely remove the casualties.
The female driver of the 106 was treated for minor injuries and the passenger, another woman, suffered a suspected broken leg.
Meanwhile, two occupants of the other car involved - a blue Peugeot 206 - were also taken to Poole Hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed following the accident, which happened around 7.30am at the Wareham Road/A35 junction close to Farmer Palmers Farm Park.
Dorset Police closed the A35 in both directions between Organford Road and the Bakers Arms roundabout.
The road reopened around 10am.
Diversions were put in place but traffic delays were reported throughout the morning rush-hour.
