OUTDOOR cinema screenings are returning to Dorset this summer.

Film fans will be able to choose between three films shown over three consecutive nights at Pier Approach.

People will be able to enjoy a choice of two films in the grounds of Lulworth Castle.

The film fest, organised by Luna Cinema, will kick off on Wednesday, August 16, with comedy classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail at Lulworth Castle.

The following evening will feature Jaws – which was shown last year at Pier Approach.

In Bournemouth, the first film to be shown will be the Oscar-nominated musical drama La La Land on Friday, August 18.

On the Saturday, Notting Hill will be shown. And on Sunday, it will be adventure comedy The Goonies.

Doors will open at 6.45pm for the 8.15pm showings at the two venues.

Cinema-goers will need to take something to sit on and wear suitable clothing.

The website also states the event will go ahead in the event of bad weather.

For Pier Approach, tickets are £15 for general admission, £10 for children aged 3 to 15 years, and £7.50 for disabled and carers.

Group tickets are also available for parties of ten or more at £14 per person.

For Lulworth Castle, general admission tickets cost £14.50, £9.50 for children, £7.25 for disabled and carers, and £13.50 for group admission.
