THREE men have been arrested after a convenience store was smashed up in a burglary.
The Central Convenience store in Dorchester Road, Wool suffered extensive damage following the incident in the early hours of Friday morning.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Police responded to reports of a burglary at Central Convenience Store on Dorchester Road in Wool at around 12.50am today, Friday 31 March 2017.
"Three men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently assisting police with enquiries."
The police helicopter was involved in the search for the suspects, along with officers and police dogs.
A police car suffered some damage during the arrests following a pursuit.
A member of staff from the store said they hoped to be able to open on Friday afternoon, once a clear-up had taken place.
