The Bournemouth Vintage Kilo Sale will be held on Saturday at Citygate Centre in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth. With thousands of items, you will pay only £15 per kilo - that's around four to five items. The event will open at 11am until around 4pm. There will be an earlybird entry fee of £3 between 11am and 12noon and then £1.50 between 12noon and 4pm. Five classic Bulleid Pacific class express steam locomotives will be showcased at the three-day 'Strictly Bulleid' event at Swanage Railway which runs from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2.

Gaming through the ages and live music comes to the Lighthouse on Saturday. EPIC, a group of brilliant young producers all aged between 14 and 19 years of age will be taking over the brand new Sherling Studio, the cinema and foyer to host their very own microfestival. Festivalgoers will be able to play retro consoles to VR, while the Sherling Studio will host exciting new live music showcases. Artist Kevin Scully will be creating a live mural in the foyer plus there will be a screening of the classic Tom Hanks movie Big. Takes place from 2pm and 7pm. Tickets priced at £3 for festival entry or £5 to include the screening of Big.

The 35th Bournemouth Bay Run takes place on Sunday. This year's theme is the 80s with runners urged to dig out their leg warmers and shell suits for the event which raises money for the British Heart Foundation. BH Live will be running the warm-up with some classic tunes, while Jimmy's Iced Coffee will be cheering on the runners at Boscombe in their 80s gear. There are four races this year – a half marathon, 10km, 5km Fun Run and the 1km Children’s Fun Run. On the day registration for the 5K and family fun run only will be open from 8.15am. An Otter Day is being held at Stour Valley Nature Reserve in Kingfisher Barn, Granby Road, Muscliff from 10am to 4pm on Sunday with activities and volunteer spotters along the river.
