FIREFIGHTERS are dealing with a blaze in a flat in Springbourne.
Four fire engines were initially sent to Holdenhurst Road due to concerns there may be people in the flats, but a spokesman for Dorset Fire said everyone had been accounted for.
The service was first called at 2.54pm after a passing police community support officer spotted smoke.
Crews from Springbourne, Westbourne, Redhill Park and Ferndown were tasked to battle the blaze at the back of a three storey building using two hose reel jets. The Ferndown crew was soon returned to their station.
