Police have released CCTV of a man they want to identify following a break-in at shopping centre.

The incident at the Richmond Gardens Shopping Centre happened in the early hours of Sunday, March 12.

It is believed entry was forced to House of Stitch in the shopping centre at around 12.30am, with the offender smashing a glass window and attempting to gain access through the shop to the neighbouring jewellers, Altamira.

Officers have now released footage captured by the jewellers’ CCTV showing the suspect inside the premises.

It is not believed anything was taken from the jewellers.

Police Constable Jo Morgan, of Bournemouth Police, said: “This break-in has caused considerable concern for the two businesses involved.

“I am now able to release a CCTV image from the store at the time of the break-in and I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact me immediately.”
