Firefighters tackle blaze in the open near Verwood
FIREFIGHTERS attended a fire in the open near Verwood this afternoon.
Two fire engines and two four-by-four vehicles, one of which was a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service vehicle from Ringwood, were called to Moorlands Road at around 3.15pm.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was a small blaze and under control.
