AFC BOURNEMOUTH superfan Jacob Buckett made his second appearance as a mascot this season when he proudly stepped out ahead of Saturday's clash with Swansea.

Jacob, four, was joined by teammates from Ability Counts and was thrilled to have his picture taken with former Cherries star Steve Fletcher.

Jacob, who lives in Canford Heath with parents Kevin and Amanda, suffers from cerebral palsy and is in urgent need of an operation to allow him to walk and to be pain-free.

The little boy is the subject of a £21,000 fund raising appeal to allow him to have the operation before his condition deteriorates further.

Jacob is a welcome visitor to the Vitality Stadium, bringing good luck with each appearance.

The first time he was a mascot in October last year, Cherries won 6-1 and his appearance yesterday resulted in a 2-0 win.
