A BOURNEMOUTH care home has received top marks in a nationwide survey of residents.

The results showed that 100 per cent of residents polled said that they were satisfied with the overall standard of care at Zetland Court, compared to the national average of 96 per cent.

A total of 97 per cent of residents also said that staff treat them with kindness, dignity and respect.

The Your Care Rating survey is the UK’s largest survey of care home residents. A total of 18,786 residents in 914 homes across the country took part.

Debbie Powell, Zetland Court manager, said: “The care sector is constantly evolving and people’s needs are changing. As an organisation, we are always working closely with our residents and their families to provide person centred care, which means care that meets a person’s individual needs."
