PARLEY LANE: Roadworks will be continuing on Parley Lane until April 3. Temporary two-way traffic lights were installed last week while Wessex Water carries out water main work on B3073 Parley Lane between Chapel Gate and Mill Lane at Hurn. Wessex Water has been constructing a new site access off Parley Lane since September last year.

KINSON: Durdells Avenue will be closed from its junction with Wimborne Road to property No.8 until Tuesday, March 21, as part of a rolling scheme of highway improvement works.

The road will then be shut from the Poole Lane junction to the Wakely Road junction from Wednesday, March 22, until Monday, April 3.

The last phase of the works will see the road shut near Christ the King School from Monday, April 10, until Tuesday, April 25.

POOLE: Sixteen weeks of roadworks on the Upton Bypass enter their half-way stage this week.

A temporary 30mph speed limit is in place on the A350 and A35 eastbound from Bakers Arms Roundabout to approximately 100 metres past Upton footbridge and also westbound from the Holes Bay North Roundabout to approximately 100 metres past the slip road. 

There are also overnight road closures planned for five nights from Monday, April 10 to Friday, April 14.

Eleven weeks of cycleway works which were due to start today on Upton's Poole Road were postponed after residents slammed the timing of the scheme, which would have coincided with the work on the Upton Bypass.

BOURNEMOUTH: One lane of Beechey Road is closed between B3064 Lansdowne Road and Cavendish Road until April 21. A diversion is in operation via- Wellington Road and Milton Road.

BOURNEMOUTH: West Way is closed due to gas main work between B3063 Charminster Road and Homeside Road until March 16.

ENSBURY PARK: Naseby Road will be closed at the junction of Limited Road until March 17 while SGN carries out maintenance works.
A signed diversion will be in place.

LYMINGTON: Major works to replace an old gas main in Lymington continue this week. Gas company SGN is investing £360,000 to replace the old metal gas main with new plastic pipe on the A337 Stanford Hill.

The work, which started on March 6, is expected to take 10 weeks and will be completed in three stages.

Stage one will see work being done on the southbound carriageway of the A337 from Anchorage Way towards Belmore Road. It is expected to take four weeks.

The second phase of work - which is also expected to take four weeks - will see temporary traffic lights installed while work is carried out to the section of the road between Belmore Road and the White Hart pub.
The lights will be controlled by the SGN team from 6.30am to 6pm.

The final stage of works, which is expected to start at the beginning of May, will take place in Stanford Road from Priestlands Place towards the Waitrose car park. 

Temporary traffic lights will not be needed during this stage but the slip road between Priestlands Place and Stanford Road will be closed over one weekend during this two-week phase. The work is taking place prior to Hampshire Highways’ work to resurface the A337. 

POOLE: Parkstone Road, from the junction of Elizabeth Road to the rear of Poole Hospital will be closed until Friday, April 7. The closure is required for the replacement of a gas main.

BOSCOMBE: Wessex Water will be carrying out emergency maintenance works at Percy Road, between Glen Road and Watkin Road, until April 1.
Watkin Road will also be closed at the junction. There will be a signed diversion route in place.
