A MAN has been arrested following a police chase across Poole.
Officers were called at 8.50am on Monday to reports that a car had collided with street furniture at Sandbanks causing road side damage.
No other vehicles were involved and no one was injured in the collision.
But the car involved - a silver Peugeot 206cc - was spotted soon afterwards in the Turlin Moor area.
A police chase ensued after the vehicle was located and a stinger was deployed at the Twin Sails bridge.
The car eventually came to a stop at the junction of Old Orchard and High Street outside Sainsbury's Local.
The man - whose details are not yet known - was arrested shortly after 10am.
