WAYNE Shaw – the goalkeeper at the centre of the 'piegate' controversy – was once a top stopper for AFC Lymington and Bashley.
Sutton's second-choice keeper ate a pie in the dugout during his team's FA Cup defeat to Arsenal on Monday, sparking a betting row.
The Totton-based father-of-two subsequently parted ways with the non-league club, amid announcements the Football Association and the Gambling Commission would be investigating the publicity stunt.
Shaw, who tips the scales to 19st 10lb and is nicknamed 'Roly-Poly Goalie', has also turned out for AFC Totton and Eastleigh.
He once played in a Southampton age group team alongside Alan Shearer.
