GEORGIA Hall believes her season-opening trip to Thailand will give her "great experience" and is hoping to feature further on the LPGA Tour this year.

A rising star of the Ladies' European Tour, Wimborne-based Hall will tomorrow kick off her campaign at the £1.3million Honda LPGA Thailand after receiving an invite.

And the former Canford Kid will line up in a monstrously tough field including reigning champion Lexi Thompson, world number one Lydia Ko and newly-crowned Australian Open winner Ha Na Jang.

However, given there is no cut at Siam Country Club, all 70 players are set for a full week at an event which has only been won twice by European players in 10 stagings.

Hall told the Daily Echo: "I'm very excited and it is nice to know I'm guaranteed to play in the whole tournament. I've never played in an event with no cut and I've never been to Thailand, either.

"As there are only 70 players, I was quite lucky to get an invite.

"I'd love to get more LPGA Tour invites during the year as it's great experience. I think I will be in America a few times this year, which is good."
