After what felt like the start of spring on Saturday, the Met Office has said temperatures could reach 17C today.
But with heavy cloud across Dorset, which looks likely to continue until Wednesday, the chances of balmy weather for Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch appear slim.
A spokesperson said yesterday: "Monday's maximum temperatures will be well above average for this time of year, we could reach 17 °C in the southeast given some sunshine."
The air across the UK has come all the way from the sub-tropics. We could reach 15 °C in E Scotland on Monday and 17 °C in S England pic.twitter.com/ebKkV2VHcS

The weather for the rest of the week looks to be unsettled with strong winds or gales over high ground and exposed coasts on Thursday, despite seeming slightly brighter.
Temperatures will be warmer at the beginning of the week, but will feel like 6C or 7C on Friday and Saturday.
