TODAY could be the day you meet your next employer at the Daily Echo Job Fair.

The event takes place from 10.30am-5pm at the Premier Inn, Westover Road in Bournemouth.

Sponsored by LV=, it brings together at least 35 employers and training organisations.

It provides the perfect opportunity for job-hunters and career-changers to chat informally to recruiters. It may be that the perfect employer for you is one you have not previously thought of.

And there will be free advice on how to succeed in the jobs market, thanks to local company Best Training.

The Daily Echo is organising the event, working in partnership with sw1jobs.com, the new home for recruitment in the south west.

Best Training’s seminars on effective job-hunting will be free to anyone, with no need to book. Just approach the Best Training’s stand at the fair and they will arrange for you to attend.

At 11am and 3pm, they will run a seminar on transferable skills, to help you learn how to identify and gain the new skills you need to make the changes you want in your career.

At 1pm, the theme is professional and personal goal-setting. The workshop will support you in identifying what is important to you in life and at work. It will also help you identify and prioritise the actions you can take to confidently change careers.
