Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on Somerford Road
A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following an accident involving a car on Somerford Road on Tuesday evening.
Dorset Police said the accident, involving the motorcycle, registered to a New Milton man, and a silver Ford Focus registered to a Christchurch man, took place around 8.40pm near the McDonald's restaurant.
Paramedics treated the motorcyclist at the scene before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road, which was closed in the immediate aftermath of the collision, was fully reopened by 10.30pm.
