THE top 10 most expensive streets in Dorset have been revealed - and it's a road in Poole which takes the top spot.

House prices in Old Coastguard Road, Sandbanks, Poole BH13, are number one, according to Zoopla.

The current average value in Old Coastguard Road in January 2017 is £763,434.

This has increased 2.47 per cent from October 2016.

Terraced properties sold for a current average value of £684,837 and semi-detached properties valued for £887,337. In the past year property prices in Old Coastguard Road have increased 5.55 per cent.

This is according to the current Zoopla estimates.

In Dorset, the highest value areas are BH13 in Bournemouth, BH3 in Bournemouth, and BH14 in Poole.

The highest value towns and suburbs in the county are Broadstone, where house prices average £439,006, Lyme Regis with prices at £406,228, Wimborne, Ferndown and Swanage.

The current average value in Swanage in January 2017 is £371,958, with the average house value £359,017 in Wareham and £353,060 in Poole.

The list of highest value streets also includes The Horseshoe in Poole, Bury Road, Poole, Western Avenue, Poole, Haig Avenue in Poole, Brudenell Avenue, Poole, Martello Road, Poole, Lawrence Drive, Poole and Mornish Road, Poole.
