Letter to the editor: 'Hidden' litter becoming a growing problem

Why is it only the main tourist sites that are cleared of litter?

Just a brief stroll to the cliff tops the other day, I decided to capture the rubbish left on our streets and cliff tops. This litter has been here for months! I see it most days.

Why isn’t enough being done to enforce this growing problem?

I have seen people from all ages discard their litter without a second thought.

Incredibly, like they are not doing anything.

I have even approached people when seen, only to be given either an indifferent look, or verbal abuse.

I have only captured a small amount of the litter.

I could fill the entire paper with images from all over Bournemouth.
