A TEAM of Bournemouth solicitors has been helping a Royal Warrant holder with its historic new factory development.

The Hill Brush Company – which is a proud holder of a Royal Warrant to HM the Queen, plans to open its new development in December.

The construction of the factory facility marks a new era in the development of this family-owned and run Wiltshire-based business.

The 10,000 sq metre site, on the outskirts of Mere, where the company was founded over 90 years ago, will include a new state-of-the-art factory, visitor centre, museum, cafe and shop.

An experienced team from leading Bournemouth commercial solicitors Steele Raymond LLP has been providing comprehensive legal advice for Hill Brush on the project - across commercial property, banking and finance, planning, construction and development.

Chris Twaits, head of commercial property at Steele Raymond, said: “We are delighted to be working with Hill Brush on this hugely important development.

“The team from Steele Raymond has been providing a range of legal advice to Hill Brush as they navigate this complex project, which will ensure the future of this historic Wiltshire-based employer and create new employment for the region.

“The new site is incredible - seeing this plan turn in to a reality is very pleasing.”

The development of the new factory follows years of consultation and development.

Philip Coward, managing director of Hill Brush, said: “The legal advice provided to us by Steele Raymond has been of huge value throughout this long and complex development process.

“The Steele Raymond team has been by our side every step of the way, providing responsive and first-rate advice

“We are very much looking forward to the completion of our new state-of-the-art headquarters, which we have been planning for many years.

“We intend to remain at the heart of our local community, and with the opening of our visitor centre, we will be able to share our history and experience with local people and visitors alike.”

Construction on the site began in November 2015 and is likely to be completed by December 2016.
