THE family of an elderly woman who died after a crash in New Milton earlier this week have paid tribute to a "much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother".
Hazel Nash, who was 89, died at Southampton General Hospital after she was involved in a collision with a Rover in Whitefield Road shortly before 2pm on Tuesday, November 1.
The car reportedly veered onto a pavement, hitting signposts and a telegraph pole.
Mrs Nash’s family said: “Hazel Nash was a well liked and respected resident of New Milton.
"She was a much-loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all the family and all who knew her.”
The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Lymington, suffered serious injuries.
She is being treated at Southampton General Hospital.
Anyone with information about the collision should contact Sergeant Richard Grant on 101, quoting 44160413349.
