BACK on the road after the sell-out success of his month-long run at the Edinburgh Festival last year, Canadian comedian Tom Stade brings his brand new show to Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday, November 23.

Star of BBC One’s Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Tom instantly made a splash on the UK circuit with his magnetic stage presence, irrepressible charm and first class storytelling, and after years topping the bill and playing at international comedy festivals around the globe, he is now established as a leading touring act in his own right.

Regarded as one of hottest stand ups going, he has earned a reputation as one of the most original and exciting comic talents around.

Originally from British Columbia, Tom is now a full time UK resident.

Tom, who comes from a small town in Canada and came to England without a plan, says like many things in his life he “fell into comedy” - before that he wanted to be actor.

His latest tour You’re Welcome is a follow-up to last year’s hit show Decisions, Decisions,

In Tom’s, You’re Welcome show he playfully explores his escalating Britishness, finding a rich source of material in the differences between the UK and his homeland; citing everything from crossing the road (jay walking in his native Canada) to the daytime TV shows he’s become so fascinated by.

With this refreshingly straightforward approach and skilful interaction, Tom welcomes audiences into his world, striding the stage with his trademark rock ‘n’ roll attitude and copious amounts of charm.
