DETECTIVES investigating the sudden death of a Bournemouth teenager have revealed they are not treating his death as suspicious.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of administering a poison/drug following the death on Friday morning but has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Detective Inspector Neil Wright, of Bournemouth CID, said: "Following initial enquiries, we are not treating the man’s death as suspicious.
"A post mortem examination conducted yesterday, Monday October 24, was inconclusive. Further toxicology tests will now be carried out. The man’s family have been updated."
Police were called to an address in Wootton Gardens in Bournemouth town centre at 3.40am on October 21.
They had been told by ambulance personnel that a 19-year-old man was in a critical condition at the address. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
