POLICE have launched a witness appeal in connection with an incident of criminal damage in Bournemouth.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information relating to an incident that took place at around 10.15pm on Saturday, July 30, at the Mr Rice takeaway on Wimborne Road.

An image of a man police wish to speak to has been released in order to find out how the takeaway's side window was damaged.

PC Peter Jelley, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation, I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.

“I am keen to identify him and would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police as I believe he may be able to help me with my investigation."
